A healthy heart, today we would just like to explain to you how a healthy heart works, so that you have a better understanding of what is actually going on in there and the importance of the heart itself. Our heart basically works like a pump, pumping a staggering 100,000 times a day allowing the blood to flow throughout the body.
The heart is split into two sides left and right, separated by a wall called the septum, the right side of the heart pumps blood into the lungs to pick up oxygen for the body whilst simultaneously the left side is working, receiving oxygen rich blood from the lungs and pumping it around the body.
